The Gaited Equation
At the Saw Horse Ranch we use mostly gaited horses and mules. We have been raising and training these animals for many years and believe them to be most suited to a versatile demand of uses.
What is "gaited" animal?
Gaited animals have no arial phase in their sequence of foot fall when shifting their weight from one pair of legs to the other. Each foot strikes the ground individually creating a gait that is often referred to us a "single foot" or middle-gait.
The ride is smoother and more comfortable than that of other non-gaited breeds.
